Our recommended hotels are all conveniently located right on Lake Maggiore in the town of Stresa - steps from one another and close to the town center where you can find many restaurants, bars, and ferry transportation.
We have a room block at Hotel La Palma and Hotel Regina Palace, but all of our recommended hotels are lovely options at a range of budgets.
Hotel La Palma
We’ll be staying at Hotel La Palma and hosting our Welcome Party here! The hotel sits right on Lake Maggiore with amazing views, plus a rooftop bar and an infinity pool overlooking the water.

Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromées
If you’re looking for a true Italian, vintage experience, this is the place for you. The concierge service, hotel restaurant, and cocktail bar with live jazz were some of our favorite things about this hotel.
Hotel Regina Palace
Another beautiful, traditional Italian experience! Known for its grand halls, serene pool and gardens, and live music that fills the lobby each evening.

Airbnb
We found the concierge services and hospitality at local hotels to be incredibly helpful — especially for restaurant recommendations, arranging taxis and ferries, and overall ease of travel. That said, there are also many beautiful Airbnb options available throughout the area.
